Preventing Sexual Harassment

 

 

All employees must complete the online “Preventing Sexual Harassment” program and submit their signed certificate of completion to Human Resources.  All employees must be compliant by September 17, 2010.  All new staff must complete training within 30 days of date of hire.   

 

The basic instructions for both are as follows:

 

  1. Go to District website at www.rolla.k12.mo.us.
  2. Select “Staff”, then “Staff Training” to “Mandtory HR Training”.
  3. This directs you to the District’s explanation of the training process.  Select “access the tutorial online” to be directed to New Media Learning’s training site and begin the training / testing process.
  4. Choose the type of course you will be taking (employees should be prepared to spend approximately 45 minutes completing entire session).
  5. Exit Options – if you need to leave the program before you finish, you can either bookmark your location or return to where you were through the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
  6. Links – throughout the program you will notice opportunities to follow optional links to additional information or to word definitions. Do not be concerned about following these links and "getting lost." Each link will lead you right back to where you left the program.
  7. At the end of the training program, there is a mandatory Mastery Test. Upon successfully completing this test, you will be advised how to print a Completion Certificate and submit it to Human Resources.  NOTE: At the time the test is taken and passed, the certificate will be created. This certificate can be printed only at that time and it cannot be saved, so please be sure you are connected to a printer.
