WELCOME TO ROLLA MIDDLE SCHOOL

- Rolla Middle School Staff is committed to the unique development of each child. We recognize the distinct social, emotional, and physical needs of early adolescence and strive to give our students a sense of belonging in a dynamic learning environment. We embrace a shared responsibility with the students, parents and the community for students to reach their individual academic potential by demonstrating the value of learning, promoting respect, encouraging wise choices, and setting high expectations for student achievement.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
RMS Strives for Bully-Free Environment
At Rolla Middle School, we are continuing to strive to make ours a bully-free environment. We work to address the issues of bullying and student conflict through a guidance curriculum in classrooms which emphasizes: the different forms of bullying, sexual harassment, racial/diversity issues related to bullying, the bystander's role in bullying, positive student assertiveness, healthy relationships, and conflict resolution.
We also strongly encourage the usage and endorse the Stop Bullying Now program by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources. Feel free to view the accompanying website to find out more information about this curriculum to discuss bullying with your child.
