I have taught for 26 years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree from SIU in Carbondale, Illinois and a Master's Degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.  I am active in the Missouri Middle School Association, and I love teaching sixth grade. 

I have three daughters.  Kate is a graduate student at Western Illinois University.  Emily is a sophmore at Missouri S & T, and Ellen is senior at Rolla High School.  I really like to play sports; I especially like to play soccer, softball and to run.

In my free time I like to work in my gardens, cook, and to shop.  I also enjoy traveling.  I have visited 41 of the 50 states.  I am the Middle School sponsor of an annual trip for sixth graders to Washington, D.C.  Stop by my class to tell me about you.
