SPECIAL INFORMATION
Make sure children have coats and any other cold-weather gear. It helps to have names on these items, too. When it is above 32 degrees, we will get out for at least a few minutes of fresh air and movement.
Please check the Snack Calendar in your child's BEE Folder or on this web page for your next turn. The children enjoy the wonderful snacks we receive. Thank you for helping; 10:50 is a very early lunch and a tasty treat is very welcome in the afternoon!
Please return resting towels on Mondays. The children enjoy curling up on their own soft towels. They are ready for a wash on Fridays!
THINGS TO WORK ON:
Writing first names the "school way" (capital first letter and the rest lower case)
Writing last names the "school way"
Tying shoes and zipping zippers
Naming the letters and telling the sounds they make
Identifying and writing the numbers 0-31
Counting from 1-100
Measuring things with non-standard measures, like
paper clips or Lego blocks
Knowing the names of the coins and their values:
penny=1 cent, nickel=5 cents, dime=10 cents,
quarter=25 cents
SUPPLY LIST
No names are necessary on these supplies; we share:
2 boxes of 8 crayons
8 oz Elmer's Glue
2 dry erase markers
highlighter
blunt scissors (Fiscars work the best)
pencils (regular size is fine)
large box of Kleenex
full size back pack
baby wipes
glue sticks
Beach or bath towel for rest time (Please put name on this)
